Nomination details
Nominations for Thursday meetings at Maitland close Monday prior at 9 am unless otherwise advertised. Nominate with GRNSW: Fax: (02) 8580 5301 (24/7) Phone Nomination on 1300 664 565between 8am and 9am Monday to Friday. You can also register Online to Nominate through the GRNSW website at www.thedogs.com.au.
Box Draw
The box draw is conducted by the GRNSW following close of nominations. Box draw is released following grading and can be found on this website, under racing info tab, or alternatively at www.thedogs.com.au
Scratchings
Scratchings are taken by GRNSW on 1300 797 538. Phone between 8am and 9:00am daily. DEADLINE FOR SCRATCHINGS 9.00am the day of the race meeting. Scratchings that are faxed WILL NOT be accepted.
Kenneling & Kennels
There is a veterinary service available at all race meetings. The kennel block is air-conditioned and the kennels are on one level.

Swabs
Maitland follow GRNSW swabbing procedures and withholds prizemoney greater than $6000 when swabs are undertaken. Prizemoney is paid following clearance of swab sample.
Dress Code
Participants are advised that from August 1, 2015 (inclusive) Maitland has a required Dress Code for all race meetings. Handlers must wear a white collared shirt, black pants and if a jumper is worn it must be black. Black enclosed shoes are also required.

General Information
Wagering
Maitland GBOTA has an oncourse NSW TAB outlet operating on local and away meetings at race meetings.
The NSW GBOTA advocates responsible wagering. Know your limits. If gambling is a problem for you, please call 1800 858 858 or head to www.gamblinghelp.nsw.gov.au.
Should any bookmaker be operating that bookmaker, when offering odds against a greyhound, shall be compelled to lay such odds if demanded by the taker, but so that the bookmaker shall not be compelled to lose more than $500 on any one wager.
Smoking
Under NSW Health legislation, smoking is not permitted in spectator areas nor (from July 6, 2015) within 4 metres of entry to or exit from the licensed venue. Please speak to staff on course as to designated smoking areas.
Eftpos
There are EFTPOS facilities available through the oncourse tote facilities at Maitland race meetings.
Other
There are limited camping facilities for travelling trainers, with no kennels available for the greyhounds.
There are also replays of all races available to owners and trainers.
